2017 Liberty Open, A GLTA Masters Series Event

Metropolitan Tennis Group proudly presents the Liberty Open, the GLTA-sanctioned tournament played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home to the US Open. Players from across the US and from around the world come to experience the courts where tennis greats Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, and Angelique Kerber have played. This invitational is open to all tennis enthusiasts! Enter early to reserve your spot! Application information below.

      Draw sizes will be limited

     The tournament will return to being a 4-day tourney

      Scoring may be modified at the discretion of the tournament directors, if necessary.

Draw Party: Friday, June 30th | 6 PM - 9 PM | Therapy 348 W 52nd Street

Play begins: Saturday, July 1st, 8:00 AM

Banquet: Monday, July 3rd | 8-10 PM Bourbon Street Bar and Grille; 346 W 46th Street
After-party: Monday, July 3rd 10:30 - ? | Therapy 348 W 52nd St.
Finals: Tuesday, July 4th. Any players who make it to the finals should expect to be available until 3pm on Tuesday.


Through the generosity of our MTG members who have offered to open their homes, we have a limited availability of hosted housing. It will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to request housing, please email Albert at

Entry Fees: $135 for one event; $160 for two events and $175 for three events; $90 if playing Mixed Doubles only.

Registration deadline: June 21st.
