Join us at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club (RIRC) for a round robin mini-tournament

What is a round robin mini-tournament you may ask?

  • There will be a singles & doubles draw. 
  • Both men & women are encouraged to enter. 
  • The round robin round will be composed of 20-minute intervals where each team/player plays each other. 
  • At the conclusion of the round robin round, the teams/players with the most games won will play each other in a final. 

Fun, Social and Competitive: This event is open to 3.0-4.0 players. That range of players produces players of many different stripes. So, in the spirit of true competition, be ready to play the "moonballer," the drop shot king and everyone in-between.

Important Doubles Draw Info (READ!!): Players who register for the doubles draw must sign up with a partner and each player must sign up individually.  If you don't have a partner, email Sarah Jaramillo (sjaramillo79@gmail.com), to be placed on a waitlist and paired with another player on the waitlist, if possible.

Limited space: The available spots in the singles & doubles draws will be limited, so register soon! If you want to sign up for doubles or singles, and there are no longer any slots for that draw, email Sarah Jaramillo (sjaramillo79@gmail.com) to be placed on the waitlist. People cancel, so definitely get on the waitlist. 

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time. We will meet in the lobby area with couches and the TV, near the front desk.

RIRC Directions and Parking Instructions - The club is easily accessible with many transportation options.

Payment and Cancellation Policies:

Payment must be tendered at time of event registration.  Any registration received without a concurrent payment will be canceled.

Cancellation must be received 72 hours prior to event in order to receive a refund.  As a courtesy, if you are unable to attend, please let the coordinator know as soon as possible.  This enables coordinators to notify those on the waitlist and to prepare the schedule prior to the event.
