Want to compete WITH your MTG friends instead of against? Ready to take on USTA teams throughout the Metro Region? Here's your chance!
Chris Phillips, an active member of Metropolitan Tennis Group, is putting together a USTA League Men's Tri-Level (3.0/3.5/4.0) team for January 2025 and is gathering interest for future teams as well. This is an opportunity for players interested in competitive team tennis with fellow MTG members in addition to MTG's existing competitions, under the leadership of an MTG player.
We are seeking players interested in forming a fun, competitive USTA League Men's Tri-Level team for January 2025. Finding a USTA team, especially one that provides a welcoming, safe space for our community, can be challenging. We would like to provide an opportunity for MTGers who want tough competition within a supportive and social environment where we can build bonds with fellow members. This is also great practice for MTG and GLTA events like WDL and Liberty Open.
If USTA Leagues are new to you, find more info here: Adult Recreational Tennis: About USTA League
Some basics:
Already a captain for a USTA team and would like to partner together to form teams? We recognize that many players are already leading and participating in USTA leagues, and we would like to take this opportunity to consider forming additional partnerships. Please contact Chris for details.

Register to express your interest and receive more information in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, registration does not guarantee placement if we receive more registrations for a playing level than available spots. Additional teams will be created in 2025, providing more opportunities for anyone not playing in January.
