DOUBLES PARTY AT THE BILLIE JEAN KING NATIONAL TENNIS CENTER
Catch up with all your tennis pals amid a fun evening of socializing and playing lots of tennis at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Home of the US Open, a Grand Slam event!
This month's event is going back to the beginning when MTG was first formed. Back then, this was the only monthly event and players would be split into 2 groups and have time in between rounds to have provided dinner and to hang out with your friends and hopefully make some new ones.
This is a round-robin event and women are encouraged to join. If you have a tennis partner, let us know so we put you together.; If you don't have one, no worries; we'll take care of that.
Players will be randomly selected for each group in terms of start time.
Members $44/ Non-Members $54
If you have any questions, please contact the coordinators:

Please note: If your plans have changed and you can't attend, please email the event coordinator(s). Refunds can not be honored for cancellations made after 72 hours before the event date.
Drills and Doubles are back at RIRC.
Join us for some Drill'n Play Tennis on Har-Tru courts at the conveniently located Roosevelt Island Racquet Club(RIRC).
The rotating format gives players the opportunity to meet and play with various other players. Plus, there will be a court with an instructor to lead the group through drills to help enhance your game. You will be matched to a group equal to or close to your submitted playing level.

MTG is thrilled to announce the return of the Matthew Shepard Jam. A tennis-themed fundraising event to honor Matt and benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
Never Forget! This year marks 25 years since Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old student at the University of Wyoming, who on October 7th 1998 was brutally attacked and tied to a fence in a field outside of Laramie, Wyo. and left to die. On October 12, 1998 Matt succumbed to his wounds in a hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Erasing Hate Since 1998! The Matthew Shepard Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, founded by Matt's parents Judy and Dennis, that promotes tolerance and acceptance of all people regardless of sexual orientation, color, religion and culture. The organization's primary mission is to visit schools and community/religious organizations throughout the country to dispel fear, educate and encourage people to embrace and celebrate diversity. The Foundation has successfully lobbied for the extension of the federal hate crime laws to include punishment for crimes committed and motivated by LGBTQ+ fear and hatred.
Visit www.matthewshepard.org for more information on this amazing organization.
Please Read Judy Shepard's Poignant Message to MTG from 2018.
