MTG No-Show Policy
MTG’s core mission is to create a community through tennis and social events. Our tennis events are in high demand and often sell out in a matter of hours. It is this popularity that serves as a backdrop for MTG’s No-Show policy.
Players have a responsibility to advise MTG if they are unable to attend an event they registered for. Even if players don’t cancel before the refund window closes, they still have an obligation to inform the event coordinator, enabling us to find a replacement player.
No-Shows are disruptive to the event organizers and inconsiderate to our fellow players. The success of our events and positive player experiences are predicated on the careful on-court pairings planned by our event organizers/volunteers. Therefore, the negative impact of No-Shows is significant and will be addressed as detailed below:
*Offense counts are cumulative and do not expire/reset. This policy will go into effect on May 1, 2024.
Players impacted by the No-Show exclusion policy will be reinstated to eligibility after one calendar year. Any No-Shows that occur after reinstatement will result in a permanent ban from registering for any future MTG event.
Please contact the MTG Board of Directors for clarification on any matters related to the terms and conditions of the No-Show policy.
