When and why did you join MTG?

I joined approximately 4 years ago because I wanted to start playing tennis again after an almost 8 year hiatus and meet individuals to hit with in NYC.

When and why did you become Treasurer?

I took over the position at the beginning of March 2019. I wanted to help with the organization in some capacity. In my current job, I deal with budgetary concerns and try to figure out ways to achieve those goals. I also love money and I have a very mathematical brain, so figured this was the best way that I could help!

How long have you been playing tennis?

I have been playing since I was 12 years old. I took a break in my 20’s but have been playing solidly for 5 years now.

Tell us more about your tennis background.

I played all throughout Junior high and High school. I was on the Boy’s varsity team and played #4 singles as well as #2 doubles. I played my freshman year in college before I was told that I should focus on my major (vocal performance) rather than a sport. I stopped playing for the team but I would still go to their matches and hit with them to help them warm up from time to time.
