Two hours of tennis, followed by an optional social! Join MTG at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club (RIRC) for doubles, instructor-led drills, and games on Har-Tru courts.
Format: 3 courts — 2 for doubles, 1 for instructor-led drills and games.
Players: 12, rotating every 40 minutes.
Level: 3.0–3.75. Players are grouped by level. Check our NTRP guidelines.
Arrival: Arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and get court assignments from the MTG coordinator.
Facilities: Limited lockers (bring a lock), showers, and water machines. Bring a water bottle.
Grab food and drinks with fellow players at Granny Annie’s, steps from the courts at 425 Main Street.
Subway: F train to Roosevelt Island; check weekend schedules for service changes.
Tram: Roosevelt Island Tram, departing from 60th Street and Second Avenue.
Car: 281 West Main Street, Roosevelt Island, NY 10044.
Payments, Cancellations & Waitlist
Payment: Payment is due at the time of registration.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be received at least 72 hours before the event to qualify for a refund. As a courtesy, please notify the event coordinator as soon as possible so we can contact waitlisted players or make other arrangements to maintain an even number of players. MTG’s no-show policy applies to this event.
Waitlist: If the event is full, waitlist registration is available. We highly recommend joining the waitlist if you’d like to play.
